Poem for you: DON’T GIVE A HOOT

If you’re a social media lover or anti,

If you have multiple friends or scanty.

If you like marching in your high heels in your front yard,

Or if you wear snickers and go to parties, no invitations, no cards.

If you get hurt quickly and are the sentimental type,

Or if you neglect such things and are always hyped.

If you’re ever ready to feel every beat on the floor,

Or if you occupy that backseat, sit quietly and adore.

If you have more past mistakes than my pimples,

Or you want to seek help to ruin your life, if you’re so simple.

If you’re socially awkward and weird in every possible way,

Or if people stand and applaud on whatever you say.

All such supernatural beings! You’re perfectly fine like old wine.

No need to go in with the flow or try to fit in as per the sign.

Half of the world is already busy being embarrassed by their flaws,

Just wear your smile and confidence, let them wonder in awes.

What others may think, don’t give that a hoot.

Let the kids bicker, stop wasting your energy on flying your boots.

You have pretty dreams and a long way to go

Never ever let some pessimist minds lessen your inner glow.
